Hesperianpuisto, Helsinki
Hesperianpuisto, tucked into the heart of Helsinki, is a peaceful green space where nature and city life meet—a surprisingly rich place for birdwatching. This relaxed walk is designed especially for moms with babies and toddlers, offering a safe and welcoming environment to step out of routine, connect with nature, and enjoy time outdoors without pressure or judgment. Surrounded by other mothers and guided by someone who understands, this is a moment to slow down, look around, and learn something new.
The park is home to a variety of birds— waterfowl, water and city birds and occasionally shorebirds. During nesting season, it’s also a great spot to quietly observe chicks and nesting behaviors up close.
The route is short, flat, and fully accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and rollators.
Binocular and scope use, as well as expert birdwatching guidance are included in the price.
Children may only be present if accompanied by adults.
